Mission Statement: Our mission is, through the game of football, to provide opportunities for young athletes to develop positive attitudes, strong work ethics, and a passion for success that will help them become young men of good character.
Welcome to Blue Blazer Football! This is an exciting time for the Elkhart Central football program. As we continue our off-season training, in preparation for the 2012 season, the coaching staff has been very encouraged by the enthusiasm and work habits of our players. As coaches, it is our commitment to our players, school, families, and community to help build young men of character, who are not only good football players and teammates but even better citizens for the city of Elkhart, the state of Indiana, and our country.
Know that every day our players work to honor those who have played before them, support and respect those they are playing with now, and begin blazing a trail for future Blue Blazer Football Players.
On behalf of all the players, managers, and coaches we would like to thank you for your continued support of Blue Blazer Football and Elkhart Central Athletics.

Pre - Season Summer Workouts Calendars
Players are expected to commit time throughout the year to strength and conditioning. This is a key part of the culture of our team and program and a key component to our success on the football field. The purpose of strength and conditioning is to prepare the body to maximize everyone's athletic ability and is important in the prevention of injury.
Below are links to May, June, and July calendars. While these workouts are voluntary we STRONGLY ENCOURAGE the players to attend.

Elementary and Middle School Football Camps
Once again the Blue Blazer Football Team will be hosting our annual elementary and middle school football camps. The camps will be held on the practice fields at Central High School. The dates for the camps are June 4, 5, and 6. For a camp brochure and more information please click on the grade appropriate link below.

General Information and Links
Elkhart Central is a member of the Indiana High School Athletic Association and the Northern Indiana Conference. With approx. 1800 students, we are classified as a 5A school for football tournament pairings, and 4A for other state tournament competition. Elkhart Central offers competition in 21 sport activities. Within these 21 activities there are 21 varsity teams, 21 junior varsity teams, and 6 freshman teams for competition.
